Enrolment FAQ's
Helpful information for your Enrolment Journey
How early should I complete an application for my child?
We encourage you to submit an application for your child as soon as possible, ideally well before the start date.
How does the offer process work, and when does it start?
Applications can be lodged at anytime throughout the year. You will receive an automated confirmation of your application once it has been received.
Kindy applications are processed a year ahead, with interviews commencing at the start of Term 2. Year 7 applications are processed 2 years ahead, with interviews commencing at the start of Term 1. Offers are only issued after the admission interview process is completed.
An email is sent in July to applicants when all positions have been filled. Families who did not get the opportunity to interview will remain on the waitlist for second round interviews.
Opportunities depend on student withdrawal and will be scheduled on an ad hoc basis, continuing right up until the year of commencement at the College.
At what year can my child apply to attend the College?
Our main intake years into the College are Kindergarten and Year 7. However, we accept applications for all year groups and will consider them whenever places become available.
Does my child need to be immunised to enrol?
Western Australia now has immunisation laws that will help to better protect our children and the wider community from vaccine-preventable diseases.
When you enrol your child in Kindergarten, you will need to provide your child’s current Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement, which shows your child is ‘up-to-date’ with all the scheduled immunisations (according to the National Immunisation Program) for their age. This Statement must be no more than two months old.
Without an up-to-date immunisation history or an exemption, children cannot be enrolled in Kindergarten.
If you would like to know more about the immunisation requirements, obtaining an AIR Immunisation History Statement or how to access immunisation services, please visit HealthyWA.
